So versatile and loving the instant gas cooking upgrade from my coal Cobb (will be still using the coal cooking when convenient) but the ease of hooking up to the caravan
I recently purchased one to have and use primarily in my boat for catch and cook filming on all of my adventures, being a bit of a sceptic i wasn't expecting it to do anywhere near what they claim it can do... and let me tell you, I'm 100% wrong!!! This little appliance has far exceeded what they say it can do, cooks in the wind without issue, sears steak to perfection, browns bread better than a toaster, and does one hell of a good chowder. The outside remains cool to the touch so is 100% safe in case a young child accidentally touches it, they say that you could get 4 hours from a butane canister on high and 8 hours on low, but I genuinely believe that number could be on the conservative side. If you have any hesitation on this unit what so ever let me be the one to cast those doubts aside.. get one and you won't look back, I wish I had one a long time ago so I didnt have to cart a heavy BBQ around or those dangerous $20 cookers that I once used.. This thing won't be leaving my side, my boat or my car.. it will be with me on every adventure!!
Now…here’s a thing…..the Cobb Grill is great, but I would never have bought the wireless thermometer which came with the Cobb as a bonus. But….because we have the thermometer I’ve begun using it, and I find that I can make a much better job of roasting any meat because guesswork is eliminated. This is particularly true when I’m still learning to cook with the Cobb.
Absolutely loving my new Cobb Grill. Using both when travelling in the caravan and at home. Yes had some fails (pork crackling) but also some amazingly easy meals on the road. Finding it super easy to cook with (but damn the LPG model gets hot) and very easy to clean. Awesome how it all fits in the bag. So much more versatile than the Weber BabyQ IMO. I've only had it a few weeks but so far done:. 3 pizzas 1 pork belly 2 lamb roasts 1 beef stirfry Chicken shasliks This weekend I'll be trying my pork again on advice by Cobb Australia - fingers crossed and some crispy skin salmon 🙌 If you're thinking about, do it.... you wont regret it !!

Awesome bbq. So much better than our Weber and much lighter. Glad we got the accessory pack with the frypan. No more sandwiches on the boat but plenty of sausage sizzles and bacon and eggs.
After we received our order we’re excited to try right away our rotisserie and comes out very satisfying, we tried pizza before and comes out very nice top browned layer of cheese the heat is perfectly distributed. Well done!

The COBB is a quality built unit, I have slightly modified mine already to accept my Smokai smoker unit, can't wait to try it out!
So far I have done steaks and sausages in the frying pan. Absolutly love the steak and the frying pan is huge. Cool enough for two people easy. I bought the Cobb cooker to take out in the boat camping and fishing. We haven’t done fresh fish as yet due to the weather being a bit sad!
Love the Cobb. Only downside is cleaning the circular well underneath. An improvement wourld be a silicone lIner that could be removed for easier use.

Have Cooked a Korma Curry, that turned out awesome. We also Cooked bacon n eggs, nothing sticks. Cleaning is easy. Love it so far no complaints. Oh and the Pizza turned out beautifully. 😊

Decided to christen the new gas Cobb with some high grade Wagyu. Heat control was great, the heavy base griddle gave an impressive result.
First use ended up saving the day as We ran out of gas while husband was away. Rang the hubby we are out of gas and he said drag the new cobb out. So the results speak for themselves whipped up a quick Pad Thai. Very impressed hoping to get the extender and rottiserie when they come back into stock. Highly recommend.
The Cobb is the king of the camp it goes in the boat goes in the car goes in the caravan most versatile cooker even the wind can’t stop it the wok pan is the most used thank you Cobb you’ve changed our way in camping and fishing cooking
First time using the LPG gas, rotisserie roast beef and veggies in the fenced rack (both borrowed from my Cobb Air). Used a 'Meater' wireless prob to control the xook, resulter in the same good results despite my lack of skills. A lot easier and less attention needed to use than the Cobb air as the temp can by adjusted pretty much instantly. Will be keeping the Air for winter and free camping, the LPG for summer and caravan parks. Both LPG and Charcoal AIR are fantastic products.

We went away for a few days to test our new gas Cobb. It well and truly lived up to our high expectations, plus more! We cooked a beautiful seafood Paella and shared it straight out of the pan. Saves on washing up. Vegetarian Pizza, was delicious. The crust lovely and crisp. Bacon and egg wrap on the grill also a hit. The versatility is what makes it so good. We had a heat bead Cobb some years ago, which we unfortunately sold. (Don't know why) We now have purchased another second hand. So now we have two. Cooked a sour dough bread, which was delicious with the heat beads. Very happy with both.
The best part is that is ready to go anywhere at all times! Recommend the package bundle
I know it’s great for a portable bbq but very easy to take off the rubber feet and bolt down to a kitchen slide out for a more permanent option. Way lighter than the Weber baby q and no need to haul around that heavy gas bottle
Received our Cobb BBQ within a few days of ordering. Have used it once so far out on the boat and very happy. Handled the breeze that was blowing well. Used the fry pan plate for some snags and rissoles and they cooked up great. All packs up and fits inside the carry bag.

My wife and I have used the Cobb a few times it’s been fantastic easy to clean light weight no fuss anywhere cooking.
Works mint , great for the boat its a pretty stable unit and has good build quality
First meal was roast lamb and vegies. Cooked them beautifully. Ended up purchasing the dome extension so can cook a larger piece of meat. I have used the wok to fry fish and it works a treat. Also have cooked a carrot cake with success. The coated plate cooks bacon and eggs vey well. The plate can be wiped over and it fits in my caravan sink perfectly making it easy to clean. All up it is a great unit for 2 people and it is so easy to use whilst taking up very little space. I am very happy with it all.
I absolutely love my LPG Cobb grill. It is perfect for my caravan as it's light and very versatile with the different ways to cook. I've cooked chicken on the stand and it was so juicy. It has exceeded my expectations.

I have 3 of the cobb cookers take them everywhere we go just get the most perfect meal everytime. When the new LPG gas cobb cooker came out I jumped straight on line and ordered it the same day. WOW what a game changer just absolutely love this cobb.Hopped in the ranger and went out East the first weekend after I recieved the Cobb.So excited to try it out in a creek for lunch. Is the COBB a BBQ or an oven?
It’s both — and a lot more. With the lid on, the COBB becomes a powerful portable oven; change the cooking accessory and you can grill, roast, fry, bake, smoke, wok-cook and more. It replaces several pieces of bulky camp cooking gear with one compact cooker.
How many people can it cook for?
The COBB comfortably cooks for 2–8 people, depending on what you’re making. Don’t let its compact size fool you — it can handle a 3kg roast & big wok meals.
Can I connect the COBB Gas+ directly to my caravan bayonet?
Yes. The COBB Bayonet Conversion Kit allows a compatible Gas+ to connect directly to your caravan’s gas bayonet. Perfect for travellers who want to make use of their caravan’s existing gas supply. In order to keep compliant, you must use a registered gas fitter to change the LPG hose to a bayonet hose and update the stickers provided in the kit onto the grill.
What warranty does COBB provide in Australia?

Why does the Gas+ have a Flame Failure Safety Device (FFSD)?
The FFSD is an important safety feature that automatically shuts off the gas if the flame goes out — for example, in strong wind. It also allows the Gas+ to be used with the appropriate caravan bayonet setup where Australian gas requirements call for flame-failure protection.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes, surprisingly easy. Fats and cooking juices collect inside the removable inner sleeve rather than making a mess through the cooker. Once you’re finished, simply lift the sleeve out, wipe it clean or put it in the dishwasher, and you’re done.
Can I safely use the COBB Grill Plus on a plastic camp table?
Yes. The COBB’s insulated design keeps the intense cooking heat contained inside while the outer base remains cool enough to handle during normal use. That means you can cook directly on most outdoor tables and surfaces without needing a separate BBQ stand or heat mat.
