How many people can the COBB cook for?
The COBB comfortably cooks for 2–8 people, depending on what you’re making. Don’t let its compact size fool you — it can handle a 3kg roast & big wok meals.
What type of gas does it take?
The COBB Grill Gas+ runs on LPG, connecting to either a standard LPG bottle or a caravan bayonet outlet (with our optional Bayonet Conversion Kit).
Our original COBB Gas Grill and Black Gas Grill run on portable butane gas canisters. There is also a Charcoal grill option - the COBB Grill Air.
Is the COBB a BBQ or an Oven?
It’s both — and a lot more. With the lid on, the COBB becomes a powerful portable oven; change the cooking accessory and you can grill, roast, fry, bake, smoke, wok-cook and more. It replaces several pieces of bulky camp cooking gear with one compact cooker.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes, surprisingly easy. Fats and cooking juices collect inside the removable inner sleeve rather than making a mess through the cooker. Once you’re finished, simply lift the sleeve out, wipe it clean or put it in the dishwasher, and you’re done.
Whats the difference between the silver grills and the black one?
All grills have the same functionality and capacity, the only difference is the material used.
The silver grills feature a premium stainless steel base, ideal for boats and coastal environments. The black grill has a durable powder-coated steel base, perfect for camping and everyday land adventures.
