Cook the rice:
Place the COBB Wok onto the COBB and cook the rice as you normally would.
Once cooked, leave the rice in the Wok and set it aside. This becomes your serving dish at the end, keeping things nice and simple.
Cook the steak:
Swap the Wok for the COBB Frying Pan and let it get properly hot.
Add a generous knob of butter, then add the steaks and sear well on both sides.
Cook to your liking — we love ours medium rare.
Remove the steaks and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing or dicing.
Add the teriyaki:
Return the sliced steak to the Frying Pan on a low heat
Pour over plenty of teriyaki sauce and toss everything together for a minute or two until the steak is coated in that sticky, glossy sauce.
Bring it together:
Pour the steak and all of the teriyaki sauce straight over the rice in the COBB Wok.
Top generously with spring onions, fresh coriander and chilli.
Finish with crispy chilli oil if you want a bit of extra heat.
Serve:
One COBB, a handful of ingredients and a seriously good feed for the whole crew. Perfect after a big day outdoors when you want something easy, filling and packed with flavour.
