Golden, fluffy and coated in sweet cinnamon sugar, these easy doughnuts are the ultimate treat to whip up outdoors. Made right on the COBB, they’re simple, satisfying, and perfect for sharing around the fire. Finish them off with a rich chocolate drizzle for an extra indulgent touch.

Ingredients:

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1⁄4 cup coconut sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 egg

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • 1⁄2 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

Dark Chocolate Drizzle (Optional)

  • 1⁄2 cup dark chocolate (chips or chopped)
  • 1 tbsp butter or 1 tbsp cream (optional, for smoother melt)

Steps:

1. Make the Dough In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, coconut sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until a soft dough forms, then let it rest for five minutes. Lightly flour your hands and roll out the dough, then use a cup to cut out circles and poke a hole in the center of each with your finger.

2. Cook on The COBB Place the skillet on the Cobb grill plate and add 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter. Preheat with the lid on for 3 to 5 minutes, then add the doughnuts and cook with the lid on for 3 minutes on the first side. Flip them and cook for another 3 minutes on the second side, then remove once they are golden and soft.

3. Cinnamon Coconut Sugar Coating Mix the coconut sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, then toss the warm doughnuts immediately in the mixture until evenly coated.

4. Dark Chocolate Drizzle or Drip Add the dark chocolate and butter or cream to the skillet, then close the lid and let it melt for 3 to 5 minutes. Stir until smooth, then drizzle over the doughnuts.

Trust us, once you try these on your COBB, they’ll become your go-to sweet treat for every outdoor adventure.
